Thanks to the success of the first generation of QAmpers, our Talent and QA team had quite a challenge ahead of them. The second cycle of the Atlantbh QA education had over 900 applicants! This is what happens when you have real success stories to share. After a detailed selection process, 18 people got the opportunity to spend the next few months learning QA processes and tools from our experts, who have years of experience working on different projects. It will not be easy, but the Atlantbh free QA education will prepare these motivated individuals for their first QA jobs. We are looking forward to following up on their QA journey!

Atlantbh call for scholarships application to students studying in IT-related programs throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina is once again open. Our alumni of Atlantbh Scholarship recipients come from all over the country. Many have gone on to join our ABH Internship program which provides students with the opportunity to gain practical experience while studying and prepares them for the job market upon graduation. Some have even successfully landed jobs with our company officially becoming Atlanters.  We have no doubt that this year’s recipients will successfully join the ranks and go on to do great things. Scholarships offered 10 scholarships will be offered to first and second-year university students enrolled in IT-related study programs. There are two scholarship categories: Category 1: For students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in academic and non-academic activities. Category 2: For students coming from low-income households. Scholarships will be provided over a 10-month period, valued at a total of 2000 BAM for Category 1 and 3500 BAM for Category 2. Eligibility criteria Academic achievement during studies; Membership in student groups and other relevant extracurricular activities; Participation in relevant student competitions (in IT-related fields), on both the domestic and international levels; List of projects in which the student participated (not related to course work such as assignments and similar); Social status (only for Category 2). Several high school students, actually 32 of them, caught our attention this year as they achieved outstanding results in Cantonal competitions in math, computer science and STEAM.  In cooperation with the Ministry of Education in Canton Sarajevo, we awarded these bright young minds symbolic awards. We had the pleasure of meeting them personally at an event organized this September. Atlantbh has over 160 Atlanters, young IT experts, who we continuously support in their personal and professional development. We want to approach young people who show extraordinary effort during their schooling and studies in the same way. These symbolic awards are just one more addition to our existing programs that support youth, such as the annual scholarships for the best students and our ABH Internship, organized twice a year. 

Staying connected is one of the core values of the Atlantbh culture. With this in mind, we invited our Scholarship holders for a soft skills workshop in the Atlantbh office in Sarajevo. In addition to the received financial support, we wanted to give these bright young people a head start in their career. Our Talent Specialist Sara shared best practices and worked with the students individually on how to best present their skills and achievements in their future job applications. Tarik Buljubašić, student at the International University in Sarajevo, told us that this was an incredibly interesting, different, interactive, and relaxed way to hang out and learn. The in-office workshop wasn't all work and no play. These top students quickly adapted to the relaxed feel of our office and joined in for some table tennis fun, and a lunch with our team. Sandro Paradžik, student at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Sarajevo, said he was glad he attended the workshop: „We had the opportunity to think more about how to prepare our job applications. The other conversations were also interesting, table tennis was fun, and the food was delicious. The Atlantbh Scholarship program has now become our traditional way of giving back to young people within our community. For the fourth consecutive year we awarded scholarships to 10 successful IT students from Bosnia and Herzegovina. We like to deliver the good news in December and have even more reasons to celebrate together. With the restrictions of the pandemic now behind us, we welcomed this years’ scholarship recipients to out Atlantbh offices for a scholarship award ceremony and a chance to meet our team.
